How To Install Shreddage 3 Stratus

I downloaded the Shreddag3 Stratus for gratis. But so far I oasis't been able to get much out of it. Am I missing something? As it goes, I won't buy them.

I can't become the Snapshots to work.

The snapshots (for me) really shows the Magic of this instrument and I will with pleasure repeat myself: this is the best free guitar library available and I however wonder that they give it for free with simply limitations in playable range

I did copy the Snapshots equally instructed, but it yet doesn't piece of work.

Leon, and then there must be something wrong with the pathes then, I had no problems installing. The identify and the naming have to exist absolutely correct, so you accept to look if you lot copy the directory OR the files within the directory for example. Installation pathes depends on operating system to. I dont remember if there is an installation guide specific for the snapshots (I am at work at present deceit await at my installation pathes). Another pick volition be to testify the path inside kontakt simply thats a little complicated to if you have never washed before. If you click on the wrench button there in the settings you take the option to set the snapshots folder too. If no i else can help I will have a wait in the evening when I am back from work and make a screen of my snapshots folder and post information technology.

Back at home, here it is how it is looking on my PC, win 7, 64bit:

Path: C:\Users\User\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Kontakt\Shreddage three Stratus FREE

If you accept ever installed any snapshots the path ....\user content\Kontakt will already be there.

If non you have to create it manually as is described in the curt installtation text file:

1. Navigate to your User Content directory. For Windows and Mac OSX machines, this is located at "[Documents or My Documents]\Native Instruments\User Content"

ii. Create a folder called "Kontakt" if there currently is non one.

3. Inside the Kontakt binder, create a directory called 'Shreddage iii Stratus FREE".

3. Re-create and paste the contents of Snapshots directory included in this library into this folder.

What is really solved desperately from Touch soundworks if you never used snapshots is that you lot take manually to create the snapshot folder for "Shreddage 3 Stratus FREE" and re-create all the single snapshots in in that location. Normally y'all simply have the directory with the right name already and just copy that. At present if you miss one blank or annihilation it wont work.

Hope that helps, I know how complicated it was for me with the commencement snapshot-libs .

In my personal opinion, the couple minutes of (again, unavoidable) work setting upwards the Snapshots is an extremely minor trade for a free musical instrument with as much sample data and engine features as this one

I agree totally on that, I promise you have read my praise of the library too

Perchance just a missunderstanding, the only matter I was critizising is merely why you non have just named the snapshot binder "Shreddage iii Stratus Free" instead of "Snapshots" so that you can copy that directory directly to \user content\Kontakt like its with most snapshots libs I know. This way user dont take to create it manually and you avoid spelling errors.

Dex, I am certain you are correct and maybe at that place are some other limitations I missed but equally I tend to utilize "as it is" that was the bespeak that impressed me and then much from this gratuitous instrument: it is just instantly useable with and then much knowledge just put into the snapshots and make it just sound cracking just thrown on an existing runway that simply still makes me "insist" that this is the greatest free guitar musical instrument out there (and every bit y'all might get from the "official" answer to my last post: no, I am no shillbot )
